what's on your nightstand?

ellie is one of my most favourite names. and it's funny. because ellie's blog is also one of my favourites. when you visit mint you get the best mix of design, wedding, recipe and handmade goodness. the best. reading mint inspires me to be more curious, more original, more creative. and just plain crafty. and as if it couldn't get any better. ellie has her own stationary shop: hello tenfold. where you will find the most lovely wedding invitations, save-the-dates, menus, placecards... the list is endless. and so is ellie's talent. so check out ellie's nightstand below. and then click here to visit mint. you'll be so very happy you stopped by. xo

my nightstand is really my dresser. the dresser was a surprise gift from my grandfather, who found it at an auction and said it was too good a deal to pass up. (score!) i always have a few books that i'm reading, or going to read — this time, it's the pattern sourcebook, city of thieves, becoming jane eyre, and even cowgirls get the blues. we have blooming roses and a large plot of mint growing in our yard, so lately my favorite yellow pitcher has been full of good-smelling things. the framed picture is a note card from morris + essex. this corner of our bedroom is one of my favorite parts of our house, so it's nice to wake up to.
