what's on your nightstand?

what can i say about {frolic!}? you all know chelsea's phenomenal blog. and you love it. just like me. when i visit frolic i feel like i'm sitting under a giant tree, on a lovely summer day, and there's a nice warm breeze. yep. that's exactly how i feel. and how can you not when chelsea is posting about wild lilac bouquets. and goat cheese & herb compotes. vintage wedding dresses. and scottish castles. if i had to describe frolic in one word it would be: enchanting. chelsea says her blog is dedicated to pretty finds, clever ideas and effortless living. and i couldn't agree more. so check out chelsea's nightstand below. and then sneak a peek at what's happening over on frolic. it will definitely make your day. xo

i love having my bedroom quite sparse. i have a lot of white chairs around that i use for this and that. this one is stacked with a few current reads and some body and soul magazines--which i always keep and love! the hat is left over from a photo shoot and i usually always have flowers, pictured here are some lilacs. absent in this photo is my water bottle and laptop which are also usually on my night stand.

  1. It's sort of ethereal and other-worldly, isn't it? Sort of like {frolic!} and, I suspect, like Chelsea. There is something so sweet and pure about this image and as simple as it seems, I think it takes a huge amount of restraint and talent to live simply, in the moment, without the excess clutter. This is lovely.

Thanks for another great one, Kate!

  2. Beautiful photograph. Chelsea has an incredible talent for creating and capturing simple, beautiful moments...just like this one, with the sunlight filtering through that window just so. Beautiful. All of it.

Thanks for sharing to both of you.
